Not so much happened last week but there was some interesting things going on.
Firstly, Dad and I went down to Villa Real in our hire car -which dad had to return that day- to do some jobs in town and, since dad was returning the car I had to hitch back up!! Alcutim, where the boat was, was 45 km away. I got about 10km with variouse cars when the police stopped me and started asking me where I came from, where was my dad, where did I live, why was I out on my own blah blah blah? In the end they decided they should take me back the rest of the way and not let me hitch -which is what I wanted to do- just because they weren`t used to the idea of a 13 year old boy 35km away from home on a school day and I ended up in a car with the the guarda civil!!
Also, dad has eventually bought her birthday-present bike that she was mean to get last yaer (and also got one for himself while he was at it)!! They are really cool second-hand mountain bikes that are really strong and light and dads has very very strong disc breaks.
As we all now have a bike each we are planning on going on a long cycle trip next month with Karl once he is ready...I can`t wait!!
Lastly, Jays 17-year old french friend, Hugo is coming to visit for a week on the 27th February and he is awsome and I have strarted an online typing course online!!
