Last week started with Dave on Sula and "our French friends" leaving the anchorage. Dave went down the river to Guerreiros do Rio to meet his mum who was coming to visit for a week and the Frenchies were going to get their mast fixed in Lagos but were also coming back.
On the morning of Dave`s departure, and also the evening before, he and I had a look at his sextant to try and figure out how it worked (he had no idea)!! It was really intresting and we both learnt a thing or two too.
We have all been taking advantage of the library and have been borrowing a new free film every few days, also I went to the english book/DVD swap and got loads of new ones for only four of my old books!! I got three "Doctor Who" books, three films and three other books so it wasn`t exactly a one for one swap.
We still go to the football games regulary (no pictures yet) and now Katar ,who I`m sure youll remember from earlier posts, has arrived so we have an extra player, Eric.
Finally, we are hiring a car for €46 for a whole week so there should be lots in the next post for you.
