St Lucia and stuff

Hey guys, how are you all? We are fine. We are in Martinique at the moment and are having a great time after being in St Vincent for about six months.
Martinique is really up to date compared with all of the other Caribbean islands that we have been to.
Some of you may already know this but I now own my very first notebook (in computer terms that means a thin and small laptop) !!! The reason that I have it is because I bought it from Dad for EC$600 which is roughly £200. I did this because I wanted my own computer and he didnt want it (long story).
School is OK at the moment. I am finding all of my subjects quite boring but thats life.
Our sewing machine isn`t working properly so I`m not doing any sewing projects at the moment.
In St lucia we rented a car and did a tour around the island. We started of in View Fort and drove north to Castries which is the capital. Then we went on a walk in an area called Fond St Jaques. The walk went through rainforest and under a waterfall witch we swam in. It was great fun.
Also, when we were in St Lucia we went to Rodney Bay which is an anchorage in the very north of the island. In the bay there was a headland that used to be an island before the causeway was built. It`s called Pigeon island. When we visited the island we learnt that it was the main vantage point for the british when they ran the island. Also, there is a high hill that they used to transport heavy canons from ships. They did this by looping a rope from the top of their mizzen mast to the hill and back and then attaching the cannon and pulling it round. Also in St lucia I went on the windsurfer after about a year of not being on it and I could pick up the rig and hold it for a while. I sailed on it for the first time aswell.
