Martinique

Martinique


I have liked Martinique so far. It is a French speaking island and the curency is euros. Mum and I are learning to speak French at the moment and I love it.

Here is a picture of mum abd I doing a french lesson.

The first place we went to in Martinique was Le Marin and we stayed there for a while. There we saw some some sailing boats that were racing in the bay. We think that they were made locally. Here are some pictures:

When we left Le Marin we went to a place called Sainte Annes. There was where the carnival started!!! If you dont know what the carnival is then it is a festival that takes place yearly and loads of people get dressed up and go on parades around the towns. We went to three different parades and got dressed up for them. Here are some pictures:

After Sainte Annes we worked our way up the coast and now we are in St Pierre and will be going to Dominica next.
