Last Sunday, we walked up the mountain close to our house. Its called Maroma and the summit is at 2065m. It took the whole day to walk it and climbed 1645m (the house was at 420m). It was a very nice day but when we reached the top, the clouds closed in a bit. We could still see a long way around and before the clouds came, we could see Africa peaking through on the other site of the Straits of Gibraltar!
On the way up, we saw some goats and Jay and I went sledging:
In Spain, Sunday is the day that the men and their hunting dogs go of hunting in the mountains so for the first hour or so, we could hear the occasional gunshot which Oz did not like.
