Hi again followers,
So our first week in Sanlucar and Alcoutim has been fun. We got here on the 23rd mainly by drifting. I drifted down in the ducky (our inflatable canadian canoe) with a little bit of sailing and Dad took Sea Warrior up (apparently he hit the bottom once). Having been away from the internet for about a week there was a rush for the internet aerial that we have as soon as the anchor was laid (we are such sad people)!! Probably the best thing about here is the amount of English speaking kids and and yachties around, yes.....thats right, kids. I have already made two friends and there are heaps of expats from britain too. It is very much a social place here, there are book swaps, bars, a library (with only two english books) and even a semi-organised kids football game where anyone comes and plays at the football pitch at 4pm!! We have been three times and I am really terrible at it but improving every time. We have met up with Carl, a dutch man who is a keen cyclist and Dave and Silvia who live on a warran catamaran again. Dad, Carl and I went for a cycle withe my new bike around the area and we did 40 mph coming down a steep slope!!

There is alot of current here which makes getting ashore a little harder what with Oz needing walks and all. Oz is still itching but I think he is a little bit better.
Thats it for this week folks.
Next post will be available on 04/02/11.
